INSTEK GDM-8145 3 1/2 Digit Benchtop Digital Multimeter

The GW Instek GDM-8145 Multimeter with 3 1/2 digits, 0.5" LED display in a distinctive red color measures DC Voltage/Current, AC Voltage/Current with true RMS, Resistance and Diode Test. The true RMS AC and AC+DC response give accurate measurements for equivalent DC energy regardless of the waveform shape. Small voltage offsets are canceled by the auto-zero circuit, and protection mechanisms are available for the entire measurement range. Specifications. DC Voltage range: 200 mV, 2 V, 20 V, 200 V, 1000 V. DC Voltage range accuracy: ±(0.03% of reading + 4 digits). AC Voltage Range (AC or AC + DC True RMS): 200 mV, 2 V, 20 V, 200 V, 1000 V. DC Current range: 200 µA, 2 mA, 20 mA, 200 mA, 2 A, 20 A. DC Current Accuracy: 200 µA to 200 mA ±(0.2% of reading + 2 digits), 2 A to 20 A ±(0.3% of reading + 2 digits). Clipping is the limiting of a signal so that it never exceeds some threshold.

Line Regulation
Line regulation is the capability to maintain a constant output voltage level on the output channel of a power supply despite changes to the input voltage level.

Peak Envelope Power
Peak envelope power is the maximum value of the envelope power. Envelope power is measured by making the averaging time much less than 1/fm where fm is the maximum frequency component of the modulation waveform. The averaging time is therefore limited on both ends: (1) it must be small compared to the period of the highest modulation frequency, and (2) it must be large enough to be many RF cycles long.
